There are those things in life that you experience WAY behind the curve. You know, that movie that everyone has not only seen but have been talking about for weeks? That 'new sight' in town that people rave about?
For me, it's finally reading C.S. Lewis's MERE CHRISTIANITY. Reading this book at this extreme mid-life stage has proven to be eye-opening! Lewis, in his insights over half a century ago, seems to continue to express the pulse of mankind today. And to know that he came to these thoughts through his own struggle with the concepts of God, make them relevant still.
So...any other books I've missed in my nearly 50 years? I'm always open to suggestions.
